Usually, our blood is classified into 8 types,
通常来说 我们的血型可以分为8种
namely:A positive, A negative, B positive, B negative.
也就是:A型阳性 A型阴性 B型阳性 B型阴性
AB positive, AB negative, O positive and O negative.
AB型阳性 AB型阴性 O型阳性和O型阴性血
This classification is based on the.
血型分类主要依据于
Presence, absence or combination of specific antigens on our red blood cells.
体内红细胞上特异抗原的存在 缺失或其组合情况
If we have A antigen, then our blood type is A.
如果我们有A抗原 那就是A型血
If we have B antigen, then our blood type is B.
如果有B抗原 就是B型血
If we have both antigens, then our blood type is AB.
如果两种抗原都有 那就是AB型血
And lastly, if we neither have A nor B, then our blood type is O.
最后 如果A B两种都没有 那就是O型血
The positive and negative factor is determined by the RhD antigen.
阳性还是阴性是由RhD抗原决定的
If we have RhD antigen, then we are Rh-positive,
如果我们有RhD抗原 那就是Rh阳性血
otherwise we are Rh-negative.
否则就是Rh阴性血
But what is the use of these blood types?
那么血型究竟有什么用呢?
Our immune system produces antibodies against the antigens we don’t have.
免疫系统会对我们没有的抗原产生抗体
So, during transfusion, if wrong blood is injected.
所以在输血过程中 如果输入错误的血型
Our antibodies will recognize the unknown antigen.
我们的抗体将会识别未知的抗原
As an invader and start attacking it.

This can cause transfused blood to clot which can be potentially fatal.

What is blood pressure?

But why does the reading have 2 numbers?
