So both can be used.

Well learn is a verb.

And that’s because theseverbs show movement

or a transfer of something from one place

to another or one person to another.

So I gave the cake to Felicity.

I passed it from me to her

but originally I made it for her.

I created it for her, there’s no movement

Okay so here I’ve gotsome general situations

Now these aren’t fixed rules.

in English but this should help you to be able to communicate more efficiently.

So the first one, one that we’ve already discussed,

Talk is the verb so we use to.

You will notice that I’m saying ta not to.

This is another mistake that non natives tend to make.

This means if something is good for you or bad for you.

drinking too muchwine is bad for you.

And then we have periods of time.

I lived in Spain for a couple of years.

Then we have schedules and arrangements.

I’ve made an appoint forthe the fourth of May.

Now this is important.
