Photoshop Playbook: How to Blend Multiple Images with Different Depth of Field
早在CS4版本发布的时候 我们就增加了一个叫做焦点叠加的功能
Back in CS4, we released a feature called Focus Blending.
我发现很多人并不知道这个功能
And I found that there aren’t a lot of people who know about this.
它有点像HDR功能[高动态范围]
It’s kind of like HDR,
运用HDR功能 你可以叠加不同曝光程度的照片
which is to say that with HDR, you can combine multiple exposures.
这也像全景照片功能 你可以把很多张照片拼接在一起
With Panorama, you can combine multiple images to stitch them together.
类似地 用焦点叠加功能 你就可以叠加不同的焦点
And, with Focus Blending, you can combine focus elements,
将很多张对焦在不同点的照片 合并成一张照片
multiple images, focused on different areas, into one image.
大概没人知道怎么实现这个功能
Just about nobody knows how to do this,
我这就向你们展示一下在Photoshop中怎么做
I want to show you how to do it in Photoshop.
让我们先用Bridge[软件名]看看我们想解决的是什么问题
So let’s start in Bridge, so that we can see the problem that we’re trying to solve.
我首先要做的就是按着shift键全选这些照片文件
And what I’m gonna do, is just Shift Click on these files
然后点击空格键 这样我们就能看到全屏预览
and hit the Spacebar so that we can see a full screen preview.
你会看到 我的每一张照片的焦点
And what you will see is that I focused on each duck
都在不同的鸭子上
in each different image.
所以 可能是因为光线不足
So again, maybe I don’t have enough light,
也可能因为 我就是想聚焦到不同的鸭子上
maybe I just want to focus on a different one.
另外 你会注意到这些照片也没有对齐
The other thing that you will notice is the image is way out of alignment.
我拍照的时候没有用三角架
I’m not on a tripod.
实际上我是故意来回移动的
I’m actually purposely moving around.
总之 我们是想要把这些照片对齐 再叠加焦点
So we want to align these and try to blend the focus.
有几种方法可以实现
So there’s a couple ways to do it.
我们可以在Bridge[软件名]里选择这些照片文件
We could select the files in Bridge,
然后依次点击”工具”-“Photoshop”-“加载文件到图层”
and come up to Tools, Photoshop, and Load Files into Layers.
但你可能没安装Bridge[软件名]
But you might not be using Bridge.
那我就向你们展示怎么在Photoshop中实现这个功能
So I want to show you how to do that in Photoshop.
好 打开Photoshop
Okay, so over in Photoshop,
依次选择”文件”-“脚本”-“将文件载入堆栈”
we’re gonna come to File, Scripts, Load Files into Stack.
同样的步骤 只是名称稍有不同
Same thing, slightly different name.
这整个功能是非常强大的
And this whole utility is really powerful.
我只要选择所有的照片
I’m just gonna, select my multiple files.
我可以选择这个选项 让它们自动对齐
I could automatically align them here.
也可以选择”载入图层后创建智能对象”
I can make a Smart Object here.
但我在这里只需要打开它们
But I’m just gonna open them up,
这样每张照片就都作为一个图层 进入了同一个文档
so that each image comes in, as a layer, in one document.
稍微放大一点
Zoom in a little bit.
当我点击这些图层的时候 就可以看到
And as I toggle these, I can see
所有照片都在这里了 但是它们很明显没有对齐
that we’ve got them all here and they’re definitely out of alignment.
所以我要做的第一件事就是
So that’s the first thing I wanna do
按着”shift”键全选所有图层 打开”编辑”菜单把它们对齐
is Shift Click my layers and come up here to the Edit menu and align them.
软件会自动处理
And I’m just gonna trust auto.
完成得很好
It does a great job.
我们可以看到 这些照片的边缘是没有对齐的
We can see, they are way out of alignment.
那现在 我就可以裁剪图像
At this point, I can crop the image if I want to.
这个时候做这一步比较好
This would be a good time to do that.
我向图像中间裁剪
I could just go ahead and crop in.
裁掉那些多余的画面
I really don’t need these additional content.
对整个画面比较满意后
And then, the next thing I’m then wanna do,
接下来我要做的就是
once I’m satisfied with my composition,
叠加所有的焦点
is try to get my focus back.
我们再放大一点
So we will zoom in a little bit.
选上所有的图层
With all those layers selected,
我们再打开”编辑”
we’re just going to come up here to Edit again,
点击”自动混合图层”
and blend those layers.
现在Photoshop可以分析出 整个画面的和每张照片间的不同之处
Now Photoshop knows the difference between a panorama and a stack of images.
所以我们只要继续让它自动处理就行了
And so we’re just, again, gonna trust it to do auto, just as it wants to.
接下来我们就能看到 所有照片的焦点
It’s going to look the content of all of them,
都被叠加在一起 所有东西都能清晰的呈现出来了
and it’s gonna blend them together and bring everything into focus for me.
这样我就能看到一列清晰的鸭子了
So I should see a row of ducks that are all in focus.
好了 现在不仅所有焦点清晰的叠加在一起
Okay, so not only is everything blended and in focus,
而且我也能看到它自动生成的蒙版的所有细节
but I can see that I’ve automatically generated really detailed masks of each and every image.
如果我想进一步编辑或改进 也是可以的
And if I want to further edit or refine those, I can.
你用微距拍摄的时候就可以用到这个功能
So you could use this for macro shots,
因为你只能对焦到拍摄对象很小的一点
when you can only focus on a little bit of content.
光线不足的时候 你也能用到这个功能
You can use it when there’s not enough light.
我相信 你肯定还能找到”焦点叠加”的其他用处的
And I’m sure there’s other places that you could use focus blending
也许在那些我们都没能想到的地方
that we haven’t even thought of.
