I love the concept of growing your own veggies.

You know, we have lettuce, we have onion,

we have cabbage, we have so many different vegetables,
这真的超酷 我只是敬畏那些蔬菜的生长过程
and it’s just so cool, and I’mjust in awe of how things grow.
你知道 你只要种下一粒种子 给种子浇水
You know, you plant a seed, and you add water,
在阳光的哺育下 种子就会长成蔬菜
and with the sunlight, it grows into something.
生活中 很多时候
In our life, there are many times when
我们会在周围所爱之人生命中播下鼓励的种子
we plant seeds of encouragement in loved ones’ lives around us,
在你尝试鼓励他们的时候
and you sort of getting discouraged
你会稍微有些气馁
when you’re trying to encourage them,
并且似乎不见成效
and it just doesn’t seem to work.
你知道有些种子会长成蔬菜 而有的不会
You know some seeds grow into something. Some seeds don’t.
但是 我们应当把自己看做农夫 播撒种子
But us, we have to look at ourselves as the farmer. Scattering the seeds, knowing
我们无法预测事实上哪个种子生根
that we don’t know which seed will actually take root,
长成一棵树 然后结出果实
grow into a tree and produce fruit.
但是别担心 继续播种那些种子
But don’t worry about that. Keep on scattering those seeds,
并且一旦种下那些种子
and once those seeds are planted,
耐心点 看着他们成长
be patient, and watch them grow.
