Today’s English expression is:
得到点头确认
(to) get the nod.
获得允许
To get the nod.
额……我得到了点头确认
Uh…I…got…the nod.
现在把”t”和“th”放在一起
Now this gives the “t” and the “th”.
发音合并起来
Put them together.
得 到？不对 得到
Got the?No, got the, got the.
我得到了点头回应
I got the nod.
他得到了点头回应
He got the nod.
有时候我们也会有这种情况
And sometimes we are…from.
他从他老板那得到了点头回应
He got the nod from his boss.
他得到了他老婆的点头回应
He got the nod from his wife.
他得到了他朋友的点头回应
He got the nod from his friend.
并且我们有时候也不需要这些可以把结尾部分省略掉
So we don’t need this,sometimes we can just end it right there.
我得到了点头回应
I got the nod.
那么“我得到了点头回应”是什么意思呢？
Now, what does “I got the nod” mean?
点头是什么意思？
What does the nod mean?
点头就是这样
“Nod” means this.
我正在做什么？我正在点头
What am I doing?I am nodding.
这又表示什么呢？
Which means what?
好吧 我相信在大多数国家中
Well, in most countries, I believe
它表示“同意”
it means “yes”.
它代表“是的”或“同意”
It means “yes” or “approval”.
所以我得到了点头回应就表示
So “I got the nod” means:
我得到了同意
I have been approved.
我的老板说：“好 去做吧 你可以的”
My boss said, “OK, do it, you can do it.”
“你被准许了 是的”
“You are approved. Yes.”
所以当我需要别人的准许
So I need somebody’s permission.
准许去做什么事情
I need permission to do something.
需要别人接受我的决定时
I need other people to accept my decision.
如果你对我点点头
If you give me the nod,
这代表你接受了 我也可以做了
then you accept it and I can do it.
