Tour lifeShare House
Hey guys. So today I want to show you guys around the share house.
And what life is like inside of one.
Now share houses in Japan are really really popular right now.
And basically what they are is a house complex
where you live together with several other people.
And you share common areas
like the kitchen, the living room and the bathroom
So if you moving to Japan.
I highly recommend share houses.
Because it’s just less hasslethan finding your own department.
Especially if you are a foreigner.
And it’s usually a little bit cheaper
and everything is set up for you.
比如说电 水 家具
Like electricity, water, furniture.
So you have less things to worry about when you come.
So let’s go and see what a share house is actually like.
So meet my friend, Ryan, who works for the share house company.
He is kind enough to show us around today.
So let’s go inside.
So when you first enter to the right.
There was a living area
where you can sit and socialize with other housemates.
There was also a projection that comes down.
So this is awesome
if you have a movie night or watch a live game with everyone.
Next we have the kitchen space
where you can eat and hang out with other housemates.
Depending on the share house, the residents vary
however this one has around 17 people living here.
Japanese kitchens in normal apartments are usually really small.
So this specious shared kitchen is great for people who love to cook.
And also the kitchen where the appliances are all included in the house,
so you don’t need to buy your own.
So the fridge is usually shared in share houses.
However if you don’t want your precious food to be eaten by others,
it’s good to get your own small one for your room,
just in case.
And uaually a house cleaner comes to the house each week,
so you don’t have to take the turn to do the chores.
Next we have a billiards room,
now this is pretty awesome having a billiards table in your own house.
Next is the dinning area where you can sit down and enjoy your meal.
There is also a TV in here.
If the weather is good, you can also eat outside on the desk as well.
And here are some boxes for each room to put their cooking ingredients in.
Next up we have the working space.
Now if you can’t concentrate in your room when you work,
then this is the room to go to get some work done.
Or if you just want some alone time and enjoy a good book.
Now Ryan is going to take me to my soon to be most favorite room
in the house.
Can you guys guess what is it?
No, it’s not the toilet.
But apart from the toilet in your room,
there are these sit toilet.
Now back to what I was saying.
What do your guys think is in this room?
Oh my God.
Now I see why it’s called the healing room,
that’s nice, like after a day’s work.
Now it’s finally time to show you guys THE room.
What room number is it?
So this is the model room.
This is the room you show everyone that comes here.
And the keys are on the door?
Preparetion, preparetion is the key, so.
You got to take off your shoes in Japan.
Greeting used on going to someone’s home.
I shouldn’t, I shouldn’t do this.
No, it’s fine.
For this share house the rooms are around 70000 yen a month.
So when you first go in, on one side there will be a shoe ark.
And on the other side, there will be a closet.
And next to that is a small sink and a kitchen.
And opposite that you have your own bathroom.
Japanese bathroom tend to be a little bit smaller than other countries.
And then you have the bedroom.
Now most share houses in Japan are fully furnished,
so you only have to buy the small things,
比如羽绒被 绿植 装饰用品
like duvets, plants and interior design.
whatever you desired to design your room with.
This room also had a balcony which was really nice.
Oh, a bunch came in,
I think I just walked on a spider.
Oh, no no no.
噢 天哪 它看起来
Oh, God, its look.
It’s OK, it.
It will be OK.
It will be OK?
Let’s get the spider.
This is what Japanese spiders look like.
嗯 在哪儿呢 蜘蛛呢
Umm, where are they, where is it?
And this is what the exterior look like and the surroundings.
Japanese houses tend to be very close together,
so don’t be surprise if you don’t have a garden.
Now this can be what a share house is like inside.
Those guy verse these guy.
