Insect-sized robot takes flight: RoboBee X-Wing

Insects are true masters of flight–

Scientists have been taking inspiration from our six-legged friends

This is RoboBee X-Wing.

It’s got a wingspan of just 3.5 centimetres

At this scale, batteries are just too heavy to be carried onboard,
