基础英语语法课程:如何在英语中使用冠词“a”、“an”和“the”?

How to use articles 'a', 'an', and 'the' in English? - Basic English Grammar lesson

大家好 我是娜哈瑞卡
Hi there everybody!
我是你这节学习课程的导师
I am Niharika, your tutor for today’s lesson.
感谢你点击收看这个视频
And thank you for clicking on this video here.
我们将要学习冠词
We are gonna learn about articles,
“a” “an” “the” 好吗?
‘a’, ‘an’, ‘the’, okay?
我们将要学习这些冠词
We’re gonna learn about these articles.
现在这些冠词有一点点难
Now these articles are a little difficult,
因为冠词让人有些疑惑而且其中有着许多规则
a little confusing and have many rules.
但是我会从基础开始帮助你
However I’m gonna help you with the basics so that
这样你就知道如何在句子中使用这些冠词
you know how can you use these articles in your sentences.
好的 那我们我们将在这里看第一个冠词
Okay. So we will look at the first article here.
那就是“a”
That is ‘a’.
在我开始讲之前 让我先告诉你
Now before I start with it, let me also tell you
冠词是被用于修饰名词的 知道了吗?
that articles are used for nouns. Okay?
要一直记得 他们是用于修饰名词的
Always remember this that they are used for nouns.
好的 那么让我们看看这一句话
Okay. So let’s look at a sentence here
然后我会解释这个冠词到底是什么
and then I’ll explain what exactly this article is.
“She wore a hat”
‘She wore a hat’
现在 这个“a”是你的冠词
Now here, ‘a’ is your article.
“hat”是你的名词
and ‘hat’ is your noun.
所以 “她戴了一顶帽子”
Okay. So, ‘She wore a hat.’
现在假设我过来告诉你她戴了一顶帽子
Now if I come and tell you she wore a hat,
你并不知道我在说什么样的帽子
You don’t know what hat I’m talking about.
它可能是一顶粉帽子或者是一顶圆帽子
Maybe it’s a pink hat or maybe it’s a round hat,
所以我在说的并不是什么特定的东西
so nothing in particular that I’m talking about.
就是她戴了一顶帽子这样一个大体的意思
It’s just a general idea that she wore a hat.
也就是说这句话中的帽子不是确切的
So nothing is definite, so basically
那么A或者a就是你的不定冠词 懂了吗
‘a’ or ‘a’ is your indefinite article okay?
(a或an)那也被称为你的不定冠词
That is also known as your indefinite article.
所以当你没在说某个特定的东西时 你就可以使用不定冠词
So that is when you are not talking about something specific,
也就是你想说一个大概的东西时
just in general.
好 我现在帮你写下来
Okay I’ll just write it down for you.
好的
All right. Okay.
现在她又戴了一顶帽子
So ‘she wore a hat’, as again,
“一顶帽子”
‘a hat’,
我说的只是通常意义上她戴了一顶帽子
just in general she wore a hat that I’m talking about.
在这里我们也看到了另一个句子
We also see another sentence here.
“昨天晚上我看到天上有一颗星星”
‘I saw a star in the sky last night. ‘
现在 “a”是你的冠词 “star”是你的名词
Now here, ‘a’ is your article and ‘star’ is your noun.
好的这里要记住 “star”是你的名词
Okay remember this, ‘star’ is your noun.
天上有许多许多颗星星 对吧?
There are millions of stars in the sky right?
但是这里我们使用的是我看见“一颗”星星
So here we are using I saw ‘a’ star,
这颗星星没什么特别的 除了我认出了它
just nothing in particular, but I just spotted this star.
而且这也是我告诉你的原因
And that’s why I’m telling it to you.
所以这是一个不定冠词 懂了吗?
So it is an indefinite article here all right?
关于这个冠词 我想告诉你的另一件事是
Another thing that I would like to tell you about this article
那就是它是用于一个单数名词前的 记住了吗
is that it is used for a singular noun okay?
我来写下来,它确实是用于一个单数的…名词
I’ll write it down, it does used for a singular……noun.
所以你不会说“她戴了一顶帽子们”
So you would not say ‘she wore a hats’ okay?
这是不对的 明白了吗?
That’s incorrect okay?
所以你也不会说“我看见了一个星星们”
So or you would not say ‘I saw a stars.’
那听起来挺别扭的 是吧?
That doesn’t sound right, isn’t it?
所以它总是用于一个单数名词前的
So it’s always uesd for a singular noun.
所以“我想要一块曲奇饼干” 好吗?
So ‘I want a cookie’ okay?
我想要“一个”曲奇,简单,对吧?
I want ‘a’ cookie. Simple, right?
所以你看的不是某一块特定的曲奇饼干
So it’s not a specific cookie that you’re looking at.
你不会说我想要第三块饼干
You’re not gonna say I want the third cookie
或者第四块
out of the pocket, or the fourth cookie.
这只是一个普通的曲奇,对吧?
It’s just a cookie in general. Right?
那么 我们也能看到了 这里用了定冠词“the”
So we would also look at the…the article ‘the’ here.
所以 我们应该什么时候使用冠词“the”呢
Now, when do we use the article ‘the’ ?
我们要…我已经在这里写了一条跟之前一样的句子
We will…I have written down the same sentences here.
好的 但是 这里有“the”
Okay? But with ‘the’. Okay?
所以在这里就是她带了“那顶”帽子
So here she wore ‘the’ hat.
那么 这里“the”就是你的冠词
Now ‘the’ here is your article.
“那顶”帽子
‘The’ hat.
并且基本上意味着你知道
And basically which means you know
我说的是哪顶帽子
what the hat I’m talking about.
可能你知道 这顶帽子是我们谈论过的
Maybe, you know, it’s a hat that we discussed
就是她上周终于买下来了的那顶
about last week and then she finally bought it.
所以我正在跟提的就是 她戴了“那顶”帽子
So I am mentioning it to you that she wore ‘the’ hat.
或者这可能是一顶我们曾经开过玩笑的帽子
Or maybe a hat that we were making fun of, okay?
又或者是她上周拿到的粉帽子
Or maybe the pink hat that she got it last week.
或者是类似于这些的东西
So something like that.
这意味着你确切知道你正在讲的
So you know specifically that you are talking about
“那顶”帽子,哪顶帽子,抱歉
‘the’ hat, which hat. I’m sorry.
那么这里 “the”是你的定冠词
So here ‘the’ would act as your definite article, okay?
一些特别的 一些特定的东西
Somthing in particular, something specific.
好啦 请记住这个
All right. Please remember this.
我还想在这句话中讲一些东西
I would also like to mention something in this sentence.
我的意思是…让我们先来看看这句话
I mean…Oh let me first go through the sentence.
“我昨晚在天上看到了北极星”
‘I saw the North pole star in the sky last night.’
那么 这里 “the”是你的冠词
Now, here, ‘the’ is your article,
你的定冠词
your definite article.
在这里“北极星”是一个特定的星星
And ‘North pole star’ is the specific star
是你再一次看见的星星
that you spotted again.
这里 你知道有浩瀚星海
Here, you know there are millions of stars,
但是你只是看见了某些星星
and you just spotted some star, okay?
你只看到某颗星星
You just spotted a star.
这就是你在这里用“a”的原因
So that’s why you used ‘a’ here.
然后这里
And here!
你知道你看见的是北极星
You know that you spotted the North pole star.
所以这就是为什么你在这里用冠词“the”
And therefore you are using this article ‘the’ here.
如果你发现了在这些句子里
Now if you notice in both these sentences,
我们在这里也用“the” 对吧?
We are using ‘the’, here also, right?
为什么呢?让我来告诉你
‘the’, why? I’ll tell you.
“我昨晚在天上看到了一颗星星”
‘I saw a star in the sky last night.’
我们有几个天空呢?
How many skies do we have?
十个?十一个?都不对
Ten? Eleven? No.
我们只有一个天空对吧
There’s just one sky, right ?
在这个世界上只有一个天空
Just one sky in this universe.
这里的“天空”是你的名词
So ‘sky’ here is acting as your noun
然后“the”是冠词 因为你知道
and ‘the’ is the article because you know
你看见的那颗星星 是“这个”天空上的一颗星星 对吗?
that you spotted the star, a star in ‘the’ sky. Okay?
那么 我希望你已经明白了
So I hope you are clear with this.
你知道什么时候用“a”
You know when to use ‘a’ :
当你不太清楚那个东西时
‘A’ will be used
就会使用“a” 好吗?
when you do not have an idea about the thing, okay?
你说的就是大概的一个什么东西
It’s just in general that you talking about.
至于“the” 你会用在
There as ‘the’, you would use it when
你知道你在说什么的时候
you know what you talking about.
特别是 当你在讨论你明白的东西
Particularly, if you talking about something you know it,
正是你该用这个冠词 “the”的时候
and that’s exactly when you use the article, ‘the’.
那么现在我们来看看冠词“an”
So now let’s look at the article ‘an’.
好的,我们现在来看冠词“an”
All right. So now let’s look at the article ‘an’.
就像冠词“a”和“the”一样
Just like the article ‘a’ and the article ‘the’
他们是用于修饰名词的
how they are used for nouns,
与之相似地 “an”也为名词服务
similarly, ‘an’ is also used for nouns.
好的 然后 再一次地
Okay. And once again,
就像“a”一样它是不定冠词 明白了吗?
just like ‘a’, it is an indefinite article, okay?
所以当我们谈到一些东西
So where we are talking about something
好吗?我们正在谈论一些东西
All right? We are talking about something
但是不是什么特别的东西 懂吗?就是一个大概的事情
but nothing in particular, okay? Just in general.
所以让我们来看看这句话
So we will have a look at the sentence here,
“我买了一把伞”
‘I bought an umbrella.’
看到了吗?“我买了一把伞”
Okay? ‘I bought an umbrella.’
这里的“an”是你的不定冠词
Here ‘an’ is your indefinite article.
但是为什么我们不说“I bought a umbrella”呢?
But why are we not saying ‘I bought a umbrella’ ?
那听起来好像挺对的:“I bought a umbrella”
Does that sound correct to you: ‘I bought a umbrella.’
不 那其实是不对的!让我来告诉你原因
No, that’ s not correct ! I’ll tell you why.
因为“伞”是你的名词 看到了吗?
Because ‘umbrella’ is your noun, okay?
“伞”是你的名词 但是
‘Umbrella’ is your noun. However,
它是由字母“u”开头的
it starts with the letter ‘U’.
而u是元音字母
And ‘u’ is your vowels.
所以这里an是一个非常……一个更为简单的冠词
So here ‘an’ is very……sim……it’s a little simpler article.
我真的很喜欢这个冠词因为它很容易用
I really love this article because it’s easy to use,
因为我知道元音字母前面就要用“an”了
because I know that ‘an’ comes before a vowel.
所以什么是元音字母
Okay? So what are vowels?
“a” “e” “i” “o” “u” 看到了吗?只要记住就行
‘a’, ‘e’, ‘i’, ‘o’, ‘u’, okay? Just remember that.
“a” “e” “i” “o” “u”这些是元音字母
‘a’, ‘e’, ‘i’, ‘o’, ‘u’, okay? These are vowels.
所以(an)是用在带元音字母的单词前
So it comes before a vowel.
我们再来看一句
Will you look at another sentence here?
“我会在一个小时内回来”
‘I will be back in an hour.’
“小时”
‘Hour’.
在这里不定冠词“an”又作为你的冠词出现了
Okay, ‘an’ is again your article, indefinite article.
在这里你会说 这不是元音字母呀
Here. Well, you would say that’s not a vowel.
然而 它的发音像“our” 对吗?
However, it is pronounced as ‘our’, right?
“h”是不发音的 所以它变成了元音的声音
The ‘h’is silent here. So that becomes a vowel sound.
一定要一直记住
So always remember that
“an”会出现在一个以元音为首的单词或者开头为元音发音的单词前
‘an’ would come before a vowel or a vowel sound.
好的 这里还有一个句子
Okay so here, another sentence if you want.
“I am a honest person”?
‘I am a honest person’ ?
错的,是吧?
No, right?
这里应该是“I am…”
It would be ‘I am’…
“I am an honest person”
‘I am an honest…person’.
又来了 在这里 “h”不发音
So again, here, ‘H’ is silent.
“honest”是你的元音发音
It’s ‘ honest’, ‘honest’ is a vowel sound.
这就是为什么你会说“I am ‘an’ honest person”
That’s why you are using I am ‘an’ honest person.
好的 我希望你清楚懂得了
Okay? So I hope you got a clear picture
什么时候用“a” 什么时候用“the”
when we use ‘a’, when we use ‘the’
还有什么时候用“an” 好吗?
and when do we use ‘an’. Okay?
好的简单来说 当遇见元音字母
And the simpler one, use with vowels or
还有在元音之前 嗯… 有元音的单词之前时
before vowel sounds, the words…er… with vowel sounds, okay?
好的 就像之前说的
So now there… As it said before,
当我们使用冠词时 有超多的规则
there are many many many rules when we use articles.
所以我会在接下来的课程中讨论一些细节
So I am gonna get into details in our next lessons.
我会教你更多的关于“the”这个冠词的用法
Like I’m gonna teach about…em…more about ‘the’ article, okay?
我们将学习所有规则的例外情况
And we will…we will learn about the exceptions about all the rules.
