You will need a computer with Internet access Microsoft Outlook Digital ID and usb or other portable drive.
第一步
Step 1.
下载数字ID
Download a Digital ID for Outlook.
这证明接收到的邮件确是你发送的且未被更改
It certifies to recipients that outgoing messages are unaltered and really came from you.
数字ID包括存在你电脑的私人密码
A Digital ID consists of a private key stored on your computer
和发给接收人的公共密码
and a public key sent to your recipients.
第二步
Step 2.
备份你的数字ID到优盘或其它便携硬盘
Back up your Digital ID on a USB or other portable drive.
如果你的电脑硬盘坏了
If your ID is lost in a hard drive crash
你就不能发送或接收加密邮件了
you won’t be able to send or receive new encrypted messages
如果你想在其它电脑上阅读加密邮件 可以输入你的数字ID
You can import your Digital ID if you want to read encrypted messages on other computers
第三步
Step 3.
写一封 Outlook邮件
Compose an Outlook email message.
点击带红点的黄色信封图标
Click the “yellow envelope with a red spot” icon.
这会将你的数字ID和信息秘密发给接收人
This sends the Digital ID and message privately to the recipient.
第四步
Step 4.
点击带蓝锁的黄色信封图标 将邮件文本及附件加密
Click the “yellow envelope with a blue lock” icon to encrypt e-mail text and attachments,
这是与数字ID不同的双重保护措施
a double-protection process separate from Digital ID-ing.
