Are you ready to up your content marketing game?
In this video, I share three ways
to create more content for your small business.
If you are trying to get more people to your website,
and following your social media,
and starting interact with you,
you must be creating content for your audience.
Whether you decide to write blog posts or create infographics,
all my personal favorite, videos.
Whatever you decide to do,
you need to be consistently creating content for your audience.
A lot of business owners tell me they didn’t have the time or the money,
or they really just don’t even know,
what kind of content they could be creating for their audience.
Let’s not over complicate people.
Here are three ways to start creating more content today.
First, it’s all about creating a plan.
Now it’s creating a plan that
you are committed to executing of course.
Now I know this sounds really easy,
but then why don’t we do it?
Oh my gosh, we need to
block time out of our day in our calendar,
to commit to our content market.
So we need to block out that time,
to write those blog posts or
if we decide to hire somebody to write those articles for us,
we are making time to get on the phone with them,
figure out what they gonna be about,
to review them, so that they
we can get them up on the blog on our social video sites.
So we need to block out that time,
and really commit to it,
commit to those things every week.
And if it’s not in your calendar,

it’s probably not any gonna get done, right? Because a lot of time we keep talking about all these things
that we wanna do on our business.
but we haven’t gotten them done,
cause we aren’t making the time or not blocking that time on our calendar.
So for example for me,
actually have two days on my calendar every week,
where I take some time on the one day
and I am coming up with the titles of the videos that I wanna do,
and I also write little mini scripts.
I do more bullet point style take scripts on the way,
I am gonna be talking about in those videos.
and then on the another day, I schedule a blog out at that time
to actually record those videos.
So I’ve make best use of my time
by lumping those things together,
and do a couple of videos at a time.
So that’s looks like for me, what is going to be for you.
We need to be really committed to creating that plan, and of course executing that plan.
Number two, own your expertise.

You are expert in your industry and you have a lot to share.
You have a lot of conversations every day, right?
你的委托人 客户 还有你潜在的客户
With your clients, with your customers, with your prospects,
and they are probably asking you the same types of question.
More we tend to do is we overcomplicate things.
because we, in our industry,
so where the expert in our industry,
we know a lot about optical industry that other people don’t.
and that’s called a start,
start with those most frequently asked questions that you get asked all the time,

even when you are out of the events, when people meet you and find out what you do.
So I have a great example to share.
I have an opportunity in interview Darren Rowse,
he is a founder of problogger
and he’s been blogging since 2004
and one of his blogs,
what the blog he runs is actually photography blog,
and one of the most successful article that he released
that still get a ton of traffic to his blog is
how to hold a camera.
Soulds so simply easy, right?
well, there’s a lot of people out there that are getting started that
hey, I guess they need to know how to hold a camera,
so what are those questions in your industry that you are alredy getting asked.
those are some grip,
please just start when you creating your content.
And the cool part about this is that when someone is searching for it,
they are gonna find your article, infografic, video,
whatever it is, daring?
And you get to be the one that help them find the answer.
That’s not awsome? go on you.
Do you creat the plan that you are committed to executing?
You own the fact that you are expert in your industry.
The next thing is to share the content.
It’s no use creating on that great content,
if you are stingy get it out.
Of course you can share on your website, on social media,
you can email that to release.
You can also share in some of the private groups that you are part of.
So maybe you are part of some groups on Linkedin, on Facebook
and you know that had audience really find value
in that content that you just created,

and don’t be scared to ask your friends to like to comment and to share.
there’s a lot of noise online,
that we need to do everything we can in order to make sure that
people that should be see on content is actually seeing on content.
And more importantly,
it gives you an opportunity to get feed back from them.
so the feed back we get from the people that are consuming our content
is getting help us create even better content in the future.

one thing I definitely wanna mention to help you for success is that
content market is totally a long term play.
In my take a little bit time for you
to start to see a lot of views or likes comments and shares,
but don’t let that discourage you,
let that empower you,
to get start it right now.
Think about it you get start right now with your content,
and do it consistently six months from now,
or a year from now, you will be so had the game.
