I run a channel very similar to practical psychologies
and today we’re going to be talking about a very popular topic.
Studies have found again and again that
attractive people have a significant advantange in many areas of life on average.
Politicians were considered better-looking
have twenty percent more votes than their competitors.
Companies with better-looking executives have higher sales numbers.
Better-looking people have a higher chance of being hired,
better chances of having a happy sex life,
make five percent more money and live happier lives on average.
However, contrary to popular belief,
attractiveness isn’t just the look that you’re born with.
A study conducted by Harvard in 2011 found that
woman who used makeup to enhance their attractiveness
were perceived as significantly more trustworthy, likeable and competent.

Attractiveness is something that you can cultivate,
something that you can work towards.
And in this video I’m going to give you three practical tips that will help you do so.
Number one is Fitness.
There’s so many guys out there that complain about their height, their face, their body shape.

They assume that just because they were born with certain features
they’re never going to be attractive.
The truth of the matter is you don’t have to be six feet tall
I’m only five foot six
you don’t have to have a face like James Franco
What you do need do is to take care of your body.
I’ve seen this over and over again with clients that I’ve worked with
Many of them will complain about their looks,
Then send me pictures of themselves to try to prove the point.
They’ll say things like, “Look at my face , you know,

the world is unfair. I’ll never get a woman looking like this.”

But every single time I look at these pictures I noticed
that the reason they look bad is because of the way they take care of their body.
They let themselves get fat when they barely have a pound of muscle on them.
So, honestly, how much can working out do for you?
We’re going to use the 1 to 10 scale of attractiveness.
yes yes I know it’s kind of superficial
but it makes this whole thing much easier to explain
Let’s say that you’re 3 on the scale of attractiveness which is way below average.
Chances are you’re not a 3 and it’s extremely rare to see anyone lower than this.
If you work out, if you seriously stick to a program for months
if you watch what you eat, if you put on muscle and lose fat
you can easily move from a three to a five,
that’s a solid 2 points on top of that just by lifting heavy weights
you will automatically be ahead of 75 percent of the guys out there
Because 75 percent of guys out there sit at home stuff themselves with junk food
and have never start to work out program more than a month
Number two is fashion.
Fashion is something that has been recognized
by every culture around the world for thousands of years.
people from Asia all the way to the people of Africa understood
that by adorning certain ornaments and wearing certain colors
They can capture the attention of potential mates
as well as come off as significantly more attractive,
more powerful and more respectable.
even with this much history fashion is still something that many guys overlook.
It’s so common I hear things like,
”Oh, it’s materialistic to care about clothes.
I want to wear whatever I want.
I want to wear what’s comfortable .”
Sure be my guest walk around in your sweatpants all day
if that’s what you want to do.
But you’re going to miss out on the huge boost that fashion can give you
and you don’t necessarily have to give up comfort in order to look good
So we are going to use the most interesting man in this world as an example
of someone who sports very good fashion.
First we’re going to talk about his clothing.
now there’s a common misconception about fashion
many people think that you have to spend tons of money to look good
No, that’s only if you’re looking to buy expensive branded clothing.
You can always shop in less pricey stores
as long as you’re keeping certain things in mind.
So, we’ll notice about his clothing is that it fits him very well, not too big not too small
He also does something that’s called color blocking
in which you take two colors that contrast each other very well
A common combination of this is white and black
his white comes from the hair, and black comes from the suit.
speaking of which his hair and beard looks well-kept
after it looks neat and it’s well shaped
If you look at his hands, you’ll noticed that he’s wearing ring of silver
and a watch that is also silver.
you want to make sure that your accessories match
these are just some quick pointers in regards to fashion.
but if you apply them, you’ll definitely see an improvement in your overall look.
So, just how much can improving your fashion help with your overall attractiveness?
Now let’s take that example from before let’s see you start fitness very seriously
and you got really fit and now you’re out of five
If you improve your fashion sense and dress to the best of your abilities
color-blocking perfect fitting clothes accessories a nice haircut perfect hygiene

you can easily move to a 7 that’s another 2 points
Last but definitely not least ,number three is your body language.
This is by far the most important out of the three.
Because although fitness and fashion help increase your attractiveness,
poor body language will destroy your image the moment somebody interacts with you.
但是 你一旦和人互动 糟糕的肢体语言就会破坏你的形象
Good body language on the other hand show authority as well as respect
and make you significantly more attractive.
If you don’t have good body language it doesn’t matter how physically attractive you are
Because people will walk right over you,
and you’ll often be the target of bullying.
So what type of body language is best?
Well, there’s thousands of different expressions
and different body language signs.
Way too many for one person to cover in a single video.
However, there is a general rule that you have to keep in mind
regarding your own body language.
This rule is simple—refrain from doing anything
that closes off your body and makes it seem smaller.
you should aim to move in a way that expands your body opens it up
these general rules applies for just about every animal on this planet
including us humans

Again so let’s take the same example from before.
Let’s say you got into shape.
Let’s say you started dressing well, and you started maintaining your hygiene.
You’re now a seven on the scale of attractiveness.
Good body language can easily push you to a nine,
while poor body language can throw you all the way down to a five
and that’s it.
These are the three things you need to keep in mind
if you want to become more attractive.
Most of people out there who complain their looks simply are too lazy
to put in the effort to make the change.
I’ve worked with many guys who were honestly the the condition
they were in at that moment they were pretty unattractive
but after teaching them how to work out changing up their fashion,
and teaching them how to adopt confident body language,
it’s like they are brand new person, it’s that simple.
