容易混淆的英文动词—来和去

Confusing English Verbs | GO & COME

大家好!我是来自mmmEnglish的Emma
Hello! I’m Emma from mmmEnglish!
如果我把这些动词放在你面前
If I put these verbs in front
你可能会告诉我
of you, you’d probably tell me
它们太简单了
that they’re simple!
它们很简单 你认识它们 对吗?
They’re easy! You know them, right?
这些都是简单的动词
These are simple verbs.
但是它们之间很类似
But they are quite similar to each other.
有时很难决定去用哪一个
It could be hard to decide which one to use, sometimes.
那么在这节课 我们会更进一步地了解
So in this lesson, we’ll take a closer look
它们之间的不同
at the differences between them so
这样你使用它们的时会更自信
that you can feel more confident when you use them.
Am I going?
Am I going?
或者 Am I coming?
Or am I coming?
这两个动词都描述了在说话人
These two verbs both describe movement between
和其他人或其他事物间的动向
the person speaking and someone else or something else.
但是不同点在于移动的方向
But the difference is in the direction of the movement.
当你使用“come”这个词 动作是从某一处来到
When you use come, the movement is from somewhere else
说话者的位置
to where the speaker is.
我指的某一处是
And when I say somewhere else,
可以是 世界上的另一边
that could be the other side of the world,
或者只是房间的另一边
or it could just be the other side of the room.
这不重要
It doesn’t matter!
重要的是移动的方向
What is important is the direction of the movement.
从某一处 到说话者的位置
From somewhere, to the speaker.
所以这种时候 某处是指我这
So in this case, it’s me.
就是从某一处到说话者的位置
So it’s from somewhere, to the speaker.
Are you coming to our house for dinner tonight?
Are you coming to our house for dinner tonight?
Are you coming to Melbourne next month?
Are you coming to Melbourne next month?
Tell me when you’re coming to Australia?
Tell me when you’re coming to Australia.
“Go”通常在移动发生在
Go is usually used when the movement happens in the
相反方向时使用
opposite direction. From,
从说话者的位置到另一处
where the speaker is to another place.
Are you going to Thailand for the holidays?
Are you going to Thailand for the holidays?
所以在这里 说话者住在别的某一处
So here, the speaker lives somewhere else,
不是住在泰国
not in Thailand.
他们说话的时候也不在泰国
And they’re not in Thailand at the time of speaking.
Are you going to Ben’s party on Friday?
Are you going to Ben’s party on Friday?
这是从你现处的位置
So that’s from the place, where you are
或者你通常在的地方 到Ben的派对
or you usually are, to Ben’s party.
现在如果我在Ben的派对并给你打电话
Now if I was at Ben’s party and I called you,
我会说 Are you coming to Ben’s party
I could say, are you coming to Ben’s party?
所以我在问你要动身吗?
So I’m asking if you’ll move
你要从你所在的地方动身来Ben的派对
from the place where you are, to Ben’s party.
所以我用了“come”
So I used come.
到目前为止 这都可以理解吧?
So far, so good, right?
如果你现在在谈论另一个人
Now you might be talking about another person,
他不是说话者
someone who is not the speaker
也不是聆听者
or the listener.
你在谈论其他人
You’re talking about other people.
或者说是其他事物
Or something else.
那么 这时处理起来就有些麻烦
And this is where things can get a little tricky!
因为你既能用来(come)也能用去(go)
Because you can use either come or go
看这个例子
Look at this example.
My mum came to help me
My mum came to help me.
这很简单 因为我参与了这一活动
So this is simple, because I’m part of this activity.
她来到我这里
She came to me.
但是在这里 我的妈妈去(went)帮我的兄弟
But here, my mum went to help my brother.
我的妈妈来(came)帮我的弟弟
My mum came to help my brother.
到目前为止 这几句话都正确
Now both of these sentences are correct.
我既能用来(come)也能用去(go)
I could use either come or go.
但是这取决于我选取哪一视角来描述
But it depends on whose viewpoint I take.
哪个人被涉及到这个活动中
Which person, who’s involved in the activity
需要我给你描述或者给你有关信息吗?
am I describing or giving information about?
如果你选择站在
You use go when you’re using the viewpoint
活动的执行者的视角 就用go
of the person doing the action.
我的妈妈去(went)帮我的弟弟
My mum went to help my brother.
我的妈妈在做这个动作
My mum is doing the action.
如果你选择活动接受者的视角那你就用come
And you use come, when you use the receiver’s viewpoint,
即正接收动作的人
the person who is receiving the action.
我的妈妈来(came)帮我的弟弟
My mum came to help my brother.
所以我的弟弟正在接收这个动作
So my brother is receiving the action.
所以我们用 come
So we’ve used come.
现在这两个动词配合门
Now these two verbs are made much clearer
来解释 就更加清楚了
with a door.
come in 和go in 都是用来指导某人
‘Come in’ and’go in’ are both ways to instruct someone
进入一个房间或者一个建筑物
to enter a room or a building. But,
但是还是有不同点
but there’s a difference!
所以现在你和我都在外面
So now both you and I are outside together.
所以我可以对你说 “let’s go in”
So I can say to you,”let’s go in”
我们从现在的位置出发吧
Let’s go from where we are,
去另一个地方 或者进去
to another place, or inside.
当你在外面时 我在里面
Or when I’m inside, and you’re outside,
我可以说”come in”
I can say”Come in”
从你的位置朝我移动
Move from where you are, towards me.
进入房子里
Come inside the house.
如果我们改变一下情景
Okay so let’s change the context.
Are you coming to Sarah’s wedding?
Are you coming to Sarah’s wedding?
这表明 说话者也会在婚礼上
So this suggests, that the speaker will also be at the wedding.
Are you going to Sarah’s wedding?
Are you going to Sarah’s wedding?
现在这句话表明说话者
Now this suggests that the speaker
可能不打算去那里
may be not going there.
或者他们还没决定去不去
Or maybe they haven’t decided yet.
Are you going visit your sister?
Are you going to visit your sister?
那个位置离聆听者很远
So that’s in a place that is away from the listener’s
很远的地方
current place.
Are you coming to visit your sister?
Are you coming to visit your sister?
到这儿 我们讲得更具体一点
And here, we’re being a bit more specific.
聆听者在一个(与说话者)不同的地方
The listener is in a different place. But,
但是他们都将要移动到他们姐姐的位置
they’ll move to the location of their sister.
说话者可能也是
And probably the speaker too.
你了解了这一点
So there you have it!
这一不同点很重要
Some really important differences
牢记go和come这两个动词
to keep in mind about the verbs, go and come.
你认为它们很简单
You thought they were simple,
但通过这一课你可能会学到一些使用它们的新知识
but maybe you learnt a couple of new things about using them.
