and then move onto the dos of drawing breasts.

but know that I have the breasts of intentions
常见误区
Common mistakes
乳房形状各异 大小不一
Breasts come in all shapes in sizes naturally,
乳房随着年龄增长 隆胸或美胸而增大
multiply that by aging, implants, and makeup,
而且穿上不同类型的内衣和服装
and then again by different types of bras and clothing,
也会使乳房看起来不一样
there are a lot of ways they can look.
根据不同情况 告诉你不该做什么
With so much variation, it’s easier to say what you do
比告诉你该做什么更容易
than what you should always do.
这里有些建议会告诉你:”噢！天啊！
So, here’s a list of “Oh, god!
别再这样画乳房了。”
Please stop drawing breasts like this.”
很多错误是因为
A lot of these mistakes come from thinking of
把乳房想象成球体或锥体
the breasts like spheres and cones.
但事实并非如此
But that’s not true.
乳房并不是僵硬的
Breasts are not rigid.
乳房是呈柔软的泪珠状
They’re soft, tear-dropped shape forms
垂在胸腔前
that hang off the ribcage.
误区一: 气球状乳房
The No.1 mistake: Air-Balloons.
人们常把乳房看成浑圆的球体
People seem to think of breasts as simple spheres all the way around.
他们在胸部的上端和底部画上一大块圆形
They show a rounded mass at the bottom and top of the breast.
实际上 胸部没有圆形的顶部平面
In truth, breasts do not have a round top plane.
靠近锁骨的部分呈锥形而显得干瘪
They taper to be thinner toward the collarbones.
因受重力 它们在底部显得更圆润
They’re fuller at the bottom because of gravity pulling them down,
像垂着的水气球
like a hanging water balloon.
只有穿聚拢内衣的时候
The only time you’ll see top cleavage is from
你才能看到乳沟
a powerful push-up bra.

Or implants. Or make-up. Or Photoshop.

There are a lot of lies told about breasts, okay?

What I put, you know, you know,
你可以任意塑造你画的胸部
You can stylize the breasts however you choose,
但起码得真实
but you should at least start with reality,
在真实的基础上加以创作
and work your way out from there.
另一个常见的误区
Another common mistake is
是把胸部往中部挤
drawing the breasts squished together in the middle.
乳房中间应有一条自然的分界线
There’s a natural separation between the breasts,
宽1至3厘米
about 1 to 3 cm in width.
当然一些内衣是有聚拢功能
Of course, some bras actually push the breasts together,
但至少在画裸体时
but at least when drawing the nude figure,
中间要留点空
leave some space in-between.
误区三: 有人认为
Mistake No.3 is thinking that
乳房越大 乳头也应该越大
the larger the breast, the larger the nipples.
这是错的
Not true.
其实这可以任意组合
There is every kind of combination.
大乳房配大乳头
Large breasts with large nipples.
小乳房配大乳头
Small breasts with large nipples.
小乳房配小乳头
Small breasts with small nipples.
还有大乳房配小乳头
Skelly: And large breasts with small nipples!
你一边儿去！
Dammit Skelly!
我想提的最后一个误区十分奇葩
Now, the final mistake I want to mention is super bizarre.
气球 好吧
Air-Balloons, okay,
看起来应该会很性感 随意吧
They’re supposed to be sexy. Whatever.
这个怎么样？
But this?
这也太奇葩了
This is just weird.
“失重的乳房！”
Anti-gravity boobs!
当动作片女郎挺起胸 你看到的乳房是这样的
You see this a lot when action girls puffs her chest out,
一个女人挺胸的时候
When a woman puffs her chests out,
她的乳头也不会挺到天上
her nipples are not going to reach for the sky.
乳房里没有可以撑起乳头的肌肉
Breasts don’t have any muscles to point them upward.
这才是比较像样的版本
This version is much more accurate.
乳房悬在胸腔前
Breasts hang off the ribcage,
往适当的方向倾斜
tilt the ribcage all you want,
但最重要的还是重力的影响
but all breasts care about is gravity.

Skelly: Look! I’m a girl too!!
这是什么……鬼！
