Microplastics could have made their way into this really common food additive.

were found to have polymer particles of polyethylene-terephthalate,

which is used to make plastic bottles.

So the answer is let’s just avoidall shellfish AND salt forever?

Right?Well,avoiding themmight not be the best strategy

since microplastics are just everywhere.

We’re finding it in our oceans, fertilizer,

food chains, and even the air we breathe.

It’s not too late to change our ways,
