Nine: it can also affect other emotions than just fear

I wish people understood
不管是多么小的事情
how every emotion is felt 10x stronger
情绪都10倍强度袭来是什么感觉
no matter how little the situation is
至少对我来说 我的焦虑到达顶峰时就是这样
At least for me, it is when my anxiety is peaking
十:我一般无法忽视焦虑
Ten: I generally cannot ignore it,
如果我可以 就不会得焦虑症了
and if I could, I wouldn’t have clinical anxiety.
我希望更多人能理解
I wish that more people would understand
大部分时间 焦虑是无法忽视或克服的
that most of the time, it’s not something you can just ignore or get over
这真的是个缺陷 并且是每天的挑战
It’s really crippling, and it’s a daily challenge
我希望人们理解 我无法敲门或者打电话
I wish people knew that I can’t knock on doors or talk on the phone
不是因为我是千禧一代
Not because I’m a millenial,
而是因为我有真正的问题
but because I have an actual problem
十一:我不是在演戏 也不是为了吸引注意
Eleven: I’m not being dramatic or doing it for attention
我不是过度戏剧化
I’m not being overly dramatic,
有时正常的任务和场景对我仍然太紧张
and sometimes normal tasks and situations can be too stressful for me
并且“每个人都会焦虑”这种话对我没用
Also the phrase “everyone has some anxiety” invalidates me,
我希望人们不要再对我说这个
and I wish people would stop using it
