You spent too many hours with your partner? Oh no, you spend too many hours with your co-workers.With your fellow workers or colleges?
Am I right?
So in this lesson,we are gonna look at some positive and negative adjectives
that you can use for your co-workers.
Hi, friends. I am Niharika.
Welcome back to a new lesson
Well, in today’s lesson, we are gonna look at some positive and negative adjectives that you can use for your co-workers.
如果你在办公室 商店 或者飞机场工作
So if you’re working in an office, or maybe at a store, or at the airport, there are people that you work with
and these people are called as your co-workers
Or the other other words that you can use in English for them are colleges or fellow workers.
Now you tend to develop relationships because you are spending a lot of time with them
大概一周超过五天和他们待在一起 很多个小时 是吧
maybe more than five days a week and too many hours. Right?
So, when you end up the ling relationships, well, It can either be a good relationship or a bad relationship.
So when you have to talk about them, there are certain adjectives that you can use in English.
So in this lesson today, I have 5 positive adjectives for you and 5 negative adjectives that you can use for them
So let’s first look at a positive adjectives here, which is “Trustworthy”
Now a person, or your co-worker who is very honest and truthful and you can completely rely on this person
The perfect adjective to use is “Trustworthy”
So yes there are certain people in our office um…
who are so honest…like you can completly rely on these people
So you can use the adjective Trustworthy
The other positive adjective that I have for you is “Responsible”
There’re certain people puttinga lot of efforts towards their duties.
Uh… they are very hardworking and they make sure to complete their job on time.
So which means they are responsible enough, to whatever they are given.
So, if you have people who are very hardworking
你知道他们为完成工作尽最大努力 全身心投入 你就可以说他们很responsible的
and you know that they put in their best, they put in their hundred percent to complete a job
Then they are very responsible. That’s the adjective that you can use for your co-workers.
Ok. The other term or the other adjective that you can use is “Ethical”
Now there are certain people who do or who get into cheap tactics to attract attention.
Now that’s completely negative
But certain people who are very honest and who follow or deal with people with their morals and principles
Such people are called as “Ethical”
So an adjective that you can use for a person who follows morals and principles. You can say that this person is “Ethical”
Alright, let’s move on to another adjective which is “Diligent”
Now who is a diligent person?
Someone who concentrates on details
So someone who is very hardworking and will make sure to give their best
And, will not pay attention to other different things that happening around in the office.
So the main thing that they need to do is complete their job with great efforts
Alright, so rather than just saying ‘she is such a hardworking person’
用英语来形容她 一个更好的表达是 她真的很dilligent
a better adjective that you can use in English is that ‘she is so diligent’
Ok, she gives her hundred person when she takes out something
And the last positive adjective that I have for you that you can use for your colleges is “Obedient”
Now, obedient is not just used for little kids that “Hey, look at that kid, she is so obedient.
嘿 看那个孩子 她真听话
Well, it’s also used for adults
Well it’s used for someone who can applies to all the instructions and commands that are given by an attorney.
就是如果你的老板说了什么事 好吧 它必须完成
So if the boss say something. Well, yes It has to be fulfilled.
有人事事听从老板 总是做对的事情 他们就是obedient的
So there are people who would always listen to their bosses and would always do the right thing because they are very obedient.
So someone who comply’s
So someone who comply’s to instructions, like it’s not there rule but he yes. They give all the respect and are very obedient to their bosses.
So these are the positive aptitudes that you can use for co-workers.
And if you do have such nice people, please mention it to them.
Because they will always feel great if you use these aptitudes directly on the praise.
Then negative aptitude that I have for you are “Belligerent” that’s the first one
Now belligerent is use for a person who is always ready to fight.
Uhh.. there are certain colleges who do that
like they are always so angry and they just wanna fight on everything
So such people who are always to get into an argument, to get into a fight, and are very ignoring.
Then a perfect aptitude that you can use for them is “Belligerent”
Eww.. John is such a belligerent person.
Because he always wants to get into a argument, he always wants to fight or silly things
Alright, the other aptitude that I have for you which is use in a negative way is “Finicky”
Now certain colleges be a lot of attention or silly things
They are too fussy or they are way to picky about certain things
一个很好的形容词 可以用于烦人 过于挑剔的同事
So a good aptitude for such annoying, fussy, and picky people is that “Finicky”
That you are so finicky, look at you.
一个人如果关心一些无谓的事或者对事情过于挑剔 他们就可以叫做finikcy people
So someone who base attention to like silly thing, and just, just too fussy about everything. And they are called as “finicky people”
Alright, the other one is “Gullible”
Ah…People usually think this aptitude “gullible” is use in a positive way, but actually it’s use in a negative way.
There are certain people that you comma-cross who are very innocent, who are very nif
他们并不是笨 人们通常认为gullible就是说你很笨 非常笨
They are not dumb, ok? People usually think the gullible means that you are dumb, super dumb. But no, I am not here talking about being dumb.
But someone who is very nif, who can be easily tacked.
你知道 有的同事很容易被别人骗 被别人愚弄
So if, you know, a colleague can be easily fooled or tricked by the others.
那这个人就是gullible的 这不是一件好事 对吧
Then this person is gullible. So it’s not a good thing, isn’t it?
It’s important for you to come out as a very confident person, not as a naive person or not as a gullible person.
So someone who is very naive.
You can use the adjective gullible. All right.
就是这样 那些没有情感没有情绪不在意其他事的人 就是inconsiderate的
他们非常刻薄 总是让人难堪 侮辱人
都是些恶毒的人 他们对我来说 就像魔鬼
总让你难堪 找麻烦 折磨你
到这就结束了 大胆用这些词形容你的同事吧 因为他们很配
