Depression goes beyond normal sadness.

It can become an all-encompassing disorder.

There are different types of depression,

but the most common is known as Major Depressive Disorder.

Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders,

Another frustrating symptom of depression is something known as “Anhedonia”.

This means the loss of pleasure from activities which would usually be fun.
