…referring to when you mentioned that perspective is one of the themes in here？
I would pause it…
A fishbowl is a version of a Socratic discussion.
It’s student driven.
The first group please come to the center.
We have the students broken up into two groups.
The first group is sitting in the middle
and so it’s kind of like they’re inside a fishbowl being watched by
being watched by the second group.
Those people in the middle will be discussing
and 30 minutes starts now.
Students on the outside are listening and assessing:
Are they making eye contact?
Are they referring to the text as evidence?
Are they including other people in the discussion?
Then the students move right into with a feedback.
I give you sort of a half way check mark here.
They can hear from someone who is on their level,
what their strengths and weakness were.
Make it really an interesting point.
It really does make the discussion stronger.
I would like to cheering you on.
