三个简单的英语发音技巧 动词过去式

3 Simple Pronunciation Tips 😎 Past Tense English Verbs

大家好!我是来自mmmEnglish的艾玛!
Well hello! I’m Emma from mmmEnglish!
今天我想要分享一个重要的小窍门
Today I want to share an important tip
来帮助你们改善你们的英语发音 实际上
to help you improve your English pronunciation. Actually,
我将会分享几个关于
I’ll share a couple of tips but they all relate
过去式和规则动词的发音的技巧
to the pronunciation of past tense regular verbs.
规则动词的拼写很简单
Now the spelling of regular verbs is easy!
你只需要将规则动词
You just take the regular verb
加上-d或者-ed
and you add a D or an -ed
在原形的末尾
to the end of the infinitive form.
举些例子:“want”变成“wanted” “ask”变成“asked”还有“rain”变成“rained”
So some examples: ‘want’ becomes’wanted’ ‘asked’ becomes’asked’ and’rain’ becomes’rained’.
如果动词以“y”结尾 通常
Or if the verb actually ends in a Y, then usually
我们把“y”改成“i”然后加上“-ed”
we replace that Y with an I and then add -ed
例如“spied”和“replied” 但是这些简单的动词的发音
‘spied’ and’replied’ But the pronunciation of these simple verbs
并不是那么简单 但是
is not quite that simple but that’s
没关系 我们今天将要花一些时间
okay we’re going to spend some time today
复习三个简单的规则
going over three simple rules
你需要记住它们来帮助你
that you need to remember to help you pronounce
正确地发这些动词的音
these verbs correctly.
在我们开始之前 我想要问几个问题
But before we get started, I want to ask you a question.

你只需要点击下面的红色按钮
All you need to do is hit that red button just down there.
还有一件事情 如果你还没有看过我的课程中
And one more thing, if you haven’t watched my lesson
关于不规则动词的部分
about irregular verbs yet,
我将会把它们放到这里
I’m going to put it up here for you.
既然我们在这节课讲规则动词
Since we’re talking about regular verbs in this lesson,
比较规则动词和不规则动词
it will be helpful to compare the pronunciation
的发音对我们是有帮助的
between regular verbs and irregular verbs.
在你看完这个课程之后把不同之处找出来
So check it out after you watch this lesson.
好 规则动词的过去式
Okay past tense regular verbs.
对于规则动词来说 形式上
So for regular verbs, the form is the same
过去式和过去分词是一样的 很方便
in the past simple and the past participle forms. Handy,
对不对?
right?
你需要知道的第一件事情是
The first thing that you need to know is
有三种不同的方式
that there are actually three different ways
去发动词过去式末尾的-ed的音
to pronounce the -ed at the end of a past tense verb.
三种
Three.
/ɪd/ /d/和/t/
/ɪd/ /d/ and /t/ The good
幸好有三个简单的规则
news is there are three simple rules
去记忆它们 这会帮助你
to remember that will help you to pronounce
正确地发这些单词的音
these words correctly.
首先-ed可以发音为/ɪd/
Firstly -ed can be pronounced as /ɪd/
这是一个轻读的元音并且产生了一个
so this is an unstressed vowel sound and it creates an
额外的音节而且这个音节通常是不重读的
extra syllable which is always unstressed.
所以发出的声音是短的并且是低音调的
So the sound is short and it’s low in pitch.
使用这种发音的场合是当规则动词
And it’s pronounced like this when the regular verb,
的原形以t或d的发音结尾的时候
in its infinitive form, ends in a T or a D sound.
“need”变成“needed” “last”变成“lasted” “plead”变成“pleaded”
‘need’ becomes’needed”last’ becomes’lasted”plead’ becomes’pleaded
“accept”变成“accepted” “waste”变成“wasted”还有“wait”
”accept’ becomes’accepted”waste’ becomes’wasted’ and’wait’
变成“waited” 好 这些比较简单
becomes’waited’ Okay so these ones are kind of simple,
额外的轻读元音发音使得它们
the extra unstressed vowel sound makes them
非常容易发音
quite easy to pronounce.
“waited” “needed” 另外两种方式去发过去式的音时
‘waited’ ‘needed The other two ways to pronounce the past tense
规则的形式不包括元音发音
regular form don’t include that vowel sound
这意味着它没有产生额外的音节
which means that it doesn’t create this extra syllable
只是直接在单词末尾
and it does create a cluster of consonants
产生一组辅音
at the end of the word and
正如你们所知道的
as many of you know,
一串辅音
a cluster of consonants,
是一组
that’s a group of consonants, can often be
经常很难去发音的音
really quite difficult to pronounce.
让我们仔细看一下
So let’s take a closer look.
当一个动词原形的结尾是浊辅音
When a verb in its infinitive form ends in a voiced
我们把末尾的-ed
consonant sound, we pronounce the -ed
发作/d/
at the end of the word as /d/
不是/ɪd/二是/d/ 这里没有元音 对吗?
not /ɪd/ but /d/ There’s no vowel sound there, right?
那么什么是浊辅音呢?
But what’s a voiced consonant sound?
我听到你在问
I can hear you asking.
我们已经有一节关于浊辅音的课程
Well I’ve already got a lesson that explains
那里有更多的细节 但是我会给你展示
this in more detail right here, but I’ll give you
一个短的版本
the short version right now.
这些是浊辅音
These are the voiced consonant sounds.
good中的/g/
/g/ as in good.
love中的/l/
/l/ as in love.
red中的/r/
/r/ as in red.
vet中的/v/
/v/ as in vet.
zoo中的/z/
/z/ as in zoo.
well中的/w/
/w/ as in well.
new中的/n/
/n/ as in new.
mum中的/m/
/m/ as in mum.
sing中的/ŋ/ 末尾的-ng的音
/ŋ/ as in sing, the -ng at the end.
this中的/ð/
/ð/ as in this.
vision中的/ʒ/
/ʒ/ as in vision.
还有jam中的/dʒ/
And /dʒ/ as in jam.
好 那如果动词原形
Right so if the infinitive verb
以这些音中的其中一个结尾 那么-ed发作
ends in one of these sounds, then the -ed is pronounced
/d/ “allow”以/w/这个浊辅音为结尾
as /d/ ‘allow’ ending in the /w/ voiced consonant sound
它变成“allowed”而不是“allow-ed” 不是这样的
becomes’allowed’ not’allow-ed’. No.
这是一个非常非常常见的错误
This is a really, really common error.
不是“allow-ed”而是“allowed”
It’s not’allow-ed’ but’allowed’.
不是“sai-ed”而是“sailed” “waved” “rained”
It’s not’sai-led’ but’sailed”waved”rained’
“rubbed” “loved” “gazed” “judged” 好
‘rubbed”loved”gazed”judged’ Okay so
对我的澳大利亚口音做一个简短的说明
a quick note on my Australian accent.
在澳大利亚 当末尾的辅音/r/
In Australia, we don’t pronounce
跟在一个元音后面
the final /r/ consonant sound
是不发音的
when it follows a vowel sound.
在标准的英式英语发音中也是一样
So this is the same for standard British English pronunciation.
你可以学到更多关于口音的差异的知识
You can learn more about the differences in accents
在这个视频中我讲到关于
in this video here where I talk about the differences
美式英语和形式英语的不同
between American and British English.
但是发音的差异不会影响到
But this difference in pronunciation, it doesn’t affect
规则动词的过去式的发音规则
the pronunciation rules for past tense regular verbs
因为元音也是浊音
because vowel sounds are also voiced sounds
就像/r/这个读音
just like the /r/ sound.
所以不管你是否发/r/这个音
So regardless of whether you pronounce the /r/ or not,
-ed都是发作/d/这个音
the -ed will be pronounced as a /d/ sound
就像“feared”和“feared”
like’feared’ and’feared’.
这又是我的拿手戏 极好的美式发音
That’s again my excellent, excellent American accent
但是这也意味着如果一个规则动词
but this also means that if a regular verb
以元音结尾 以“spy”为例
ends in a vowel sound like’spy’ for example,
-ed也是发/d/
then the -ed is pronounced as a /d/ as well.
“spied”而不是“spy-ed”
‘spied’ not’spy-ed’ Okay rule number three.
第三条规则
当一个动词的原形的结尾是
When a verb in it’s infinitive form ends in an unvoiced
清辅音 我们把-ed发作/t/
consonant sound, we pronounce the -ed as a /t/
不是/ɪd/ 不是/d/
so not /ɪd/, not /d/
而是/t/ 所以那是一个清音
but /t/ So that is an unvoiced sound.
再一次 这里没有元音 这是一个单辅音
So again there’s no vowel sound, it’s a single consonant
被加到
sound that is added to the end
动词原形的末尾
of the infinitive verb form
所以一些清辅音如
so some of the unvoiced consonant sounds are
tape中的/p/
/p/ in tape
face中的/s/
/s/ in face
watch中的/ch/
/ch/ in watch
wash中的/sh/
/sh/ in wash
laugh中的/f/ 那么
/f/ in laugh Now this can
这里有点难 当动词的形式
be a little tricky when the verb form
已经有一串辅音在末尾
already has a cluster of consonants at the end
像ask中的/sk/或者relax中的/ks/
like the /sk/ in’ask’ or the /ks/ in’relax’
所以“ask”变成“asked”
So’ask’ becomes’asked’,
“relax”变成“relaxed” 所以这里有一点难 因为它们有
‘relax’ becomes’relaxed’ so these are a little tricky because they have
几个辅音在末尾
a crazy group of consonants at the end
让你觉得很拗口
that you’ve got to try and get your tongue around.
在我们练习之前进行一次快速的复习
Okay a quick review before we practise.
如果动词原形的结尾是
If the verb in the infinitive form ends
/t/音
in the sound /t/
或者/d/音 它发作/ɪd/
or /d/ it’s pronounced /ɪd/
如果动词原形的结尾是
If the verb in the infinitive form ends
浊音
in a voiced sound,
末尾的-ed发作/d/
then the -ed is pronounced as /d/
如果动词原形的结尾是
And if the verb in it’s infinitive form, ends in an
清音 我们把-ed发作/t/音
unvoiced sound, then we pronounce the -ed as a /t/ sound.
如果你想提高你的发音并且听起来
If you want to improve your pronunciation and sound
更像地道的说英语的人
more like a native English speaker,
你真的需要练习
then you really need to work on pronouncing
动词过去式的正确的发音
these past tense verbs correctly.
这非常简单也非常普通
They’re so simple and so common.
“wanted” “needed” “sailed” “asked” “laughed” 好 在我们结束之前
‘wanted’ ‘needed’ ‘loved’ ‘sailed’ ‘asked’ ‘laughed’ Okay, so before we finish,
让我们一起练习一些句子 因为
let’s practise with a few sentences because it’s easy
当单词单独拿出来的时候很容易 对不对?
to practise these words when they’re on their own, right?
更有挑战的是当快速地
It’s much more of a challenge when spoken quickly
说一个句子 对吗?
in a sentence, right?
你是否已经注意到这里的这些动词?
Have you noticed the verbs here?
你是否已经想到它们的正确发音?
And have you been thinking about the correct way to pronounce them?
“hated” “wasted” “starved”
‘hated’ ‘wasted’ ‘starved’
她讨厌看到当有一些人还在忍受饥饿的时候好食物却被浪费了
She hated to see good food wasted while others starved
你在这里看到哪些动词?
What verbs can you see there?
“waited” “sailed” “laughed” “realised”
‘waited”sailed”laughed”realised’
“escaped” 他等到船开走之后
‘escaped’ He waited until the ship sailed away
就开始大笑因为他成功地逃出来了
and then laughed when he realised he had escaped!
他等到船开走之后
He waited until the ship sailed away
就开始大笑因为他成功地逃出来了
and then laughed when he realised he had escaped!
最后一句
Last one.
“misjudged” “seemed” “phoned” 我想我误判了他的性格
‘misjudged’ ‘seemed’ ‘phoned’ I think I misjudged his character.
我昨天给他打电话的时候他看起来很讨人喜欢也很专业
He seemed pleasant and professional when I phoned him yesterday.
